Francis Maskens - Contemporary Dance

We begin close to the ground, tracing pathways along the floor—awakening the body through weight, breath, and momentum. Gradually, we rise, expanding through shifting planes, reaching into space, and arriving in full-bodied movement. From grounded exploration to soaring jumps, the class invites a dynamic journey through levels, where gravity becomes both anchor and springboard.

Francis Maskens (He/Him) is a dance artist based in Helsinki. He holds a BA in Contemporary Dance from London Contemporary Dance School (The Place, 2017) and is currently completing an MA in Dance at Uniarts Helsinki.
