ETSIMME NUORET TANSSIJAT -RYHMÄLLE KATUTANSSITAUSTAISTA KOREOGRAFIA!

Koreografi tekee nuorille 20 minuutin mittaisen esityksen, joka esitetään Tanssivintin Kevätnäytöksessä Uuden tanssin keskus Zodiakin näyttämöllä toukokuun lopussa 2025. Esitystä harjoitellaan noin kahdeksana torstai-iltana tammi- ja toukokuun 2025 välillä.

Toivomme vapaamuotoisia hakemuksia tanssitaiteilijoilta, joilla on taustaa katutanssin tekniikoissa ja jotka käyttävät yhtä tai useampaa katutanssilajia koreografioissaan.

Kerro, miten haku inspiroi sinua ja mitä suunnittelet tekeväsi. Voit tehdä nuorille joko uuden teoksen tai version aiemmasta teoksestasi. Kokemus nuorten kanssa toimimisesta nähdään etuna, mutta ei ole välttämätöntä. Teossuunnitelmilta edellytetään kevyttä tuotannollista otetta, sillä Tanssivintti ei korvaa ääni-, valo- ja puvustuskuluja tai suunnittelijoiden palkkoja. Kevätnäytöstä edeltäviin näyttämöharjoituksiin tarjotaan Zodiakin teknisen henkilökunnan apu esitysten valoa ja ääntä ajatellen.

Nuoret tanssijat on Tanssivintin ja Uuden tanssin keskus Zodiakin yhteinen esiintyvä ryhmä, joka aloitti toimintansa syksyllä 2022. Vuosittain n.10-15 tanssijasta koostuva ryhmä on syntynyt tarpeesta tarjota nuorille aktiivisille ja taitaville tanssin harrastajille mahdollisuuksia esiintymisen harjoittamiseen ja teosprosesseihin tutustumiseen. Ryhmälle tehdään joka vuosi kolme esitystä. Kauden 2023-2024 koreografeina toimivat Imose Iduozee, Anne Pajunen ja Meri Pajunpää sekä Jessica Piasecki.

Valintaprosessista vastaa Tanssivintin johtajisto Sara Grotenfelt, Anna Mustonen ja Janina Rajakangas.

Palkkaus: 900 €

Palkka vastaa n.20 harjoitustuntia mukaanlukien esityspäiviin sisältyvä työ.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CHOREOGRAPHER WITH A STREET DANCE BACKGROUND FOR THE YOUNG DANCERS GROUP!

The choreographer will make a 20-minute performance for Young dancers, which will be performed in Tanssivintti's Spring Show at the stage of Zodiak Centre for New Dance at the end of May 2025. The performance will be rehearsed on about eight Thursday evenings between January and May 2025.

We are looking for open applications from dance artists who have a background in street dance techniques or those, who use one or more street dance styles in their choreography.

Tell us how the open call inspires you and what you plan to do. You can make either a new work or a version of your previous work for young people. Experience in working with young people is seen as an advantage, but not necessary. A light production approach is required for the production plans, as Tanssivintti does not reimburse sound, lighting and costuming costs or the designers' salaries. For the stage rehearsals, the help of Zodiak's technical staff is offered.

Young Dancers is a joint performing group of Tanssivintti and Zodiak Centre for New Dance, which started in the fall of 2022. The group, consisting of approx. 10-15 dancers each year, was born from the need to offer young active and skilled dance enthusiasts opportunities to practice performing and get to know the work processes. Three performances are made for the group every year. The choreographers for the 2023-2024 season are Imose Iduozee, Anne Pajunen and Meri Pajunpää and Jessica Piasecki.

Tanssivint's directorial team Sara Grotenfelt, Anna Mustonen and Janina Rajakangas are responsible for the selection process.
